As a professional photographer, Hari Hawkins has many years behind the camera, which provided him the opportunity to capture the inner beauty of the female body. Hari has hundreds of these types of photographic works, as well as fine and unique wood artsan work that has been featured on display at art galleries and art shows world wide.
Born in Jamaica Queens New York, Hari Hawkins now calls Trenton, New Jersey, his home. For 25 years, Hari Hawkins has shared his extraordinary photographic and woodworking talents with fellow art lovers across the United States and beyond. Hawkin’s desire to travel and develop his creative vision in his own individual way became clear very early in life. As his high school woodshop class nurtured new interest in creating beautiful woodwork and refurbishing quality antiques, Hari's first camera purchase, a Pentax at age fifteen, helped open a new world of possibilities for a budding artist.
Ordinary women captured in extraordinary light are the graceful subjects of Hari Hawkins' Fine Art Nude Photography. His gift is capturing the natural poses a woman embraces when she is comfortable in her skin. The gracefulness of sunlight playing across a bare female torso and powerful images of a dancer reflected in a mountain lake are the trademarks of Hari Hawkins' digital images.
"The Wildflower Collection" 1964 - present, expresses the naturalistic form of womanhood. My images are in Black & White and Sepia Tone. Black Metal Frames 20"x25" Beige Matts under glass.
My intention is for this collection and perhaps some of my other work to fiind its wy into your gallery. ~Hari Hawkins
